Bringing stories to life with a guitar in hand and a heart full of songs, Paul Minnich – known as The Lawn Chair Poet – is a country singer-songwriter with over 20 years of experience weaving tales about life’s joys and sorrows through a lens of hope and haunting melodies. Inspired by a way of life Paul has coined ‘Lawn Chair Livin,’ which embodies heartwarming traditions of togetherness—shared with friends and family, often outdoors, drink in hand, and almost always with a lawn chair close by.

With a voice and style that are both raw and unpolished yet uniquely complete, The Lawn Chair Poet crafts songs that are unapologetically real. Paul’s lyrics wear their heart on their sleeve and pull no punches, capturing the beauty and complexity of life in every note.

Paul's single a fan favorite "American Valor" was released on Veterans Day (November 11, 2025). This single represents Paul's inspiration to utilize his music platform to honor our countries first responderss, active service members and our country's veterans. Paul has performed at many events including The DAV, CCVIP, Veteran Parades, Veteran Celebrations and more.
